Meet Marie
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Marie Maxted built Ladle & Lavender Co. from a lifelong passion for creating flavorful foods made with real ingredients and thoughtful craftsmanship.
What started as a love for cooking, preserving, gardening, and creating for family and friends slowly grew into something bigger — a dream of building a brand centered around beautiful, memorable foods people would genuinely connect with and return to again and again.
After moving to Sequim from Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Marie became part of the team at B&B Family Farm, where she helped craft jams, spices, lavender products, and culinary creations inspired by the farm and surrounding Pacific Northwest landscape.
Working closely with lavender, seasonal ingredients, and small-batch food production helped inspire what would eventually become Ladle & Lavender Co. — a brand where creativity, craftsmanship, and quality could fully come together.
As a mother, gardener, artist, and maker, Marie finds inspiration in the simple rhythms of the Pacific Northwest: blooming lavender fields, homemade preserves lining pantry shelves in autumn, scratch-made meals shared around a table, and meaningful moments created through food.
